What's a baby shower?

The Baby Shower is a celebration made before the birth of a baby.

This Anglo-Saxon tradition, indispensable in the United States, it has been expanding all along South America and Europe and it has more followers every day.

Usually it's a women-only meeting, although the current trend is to invite friends or relatives.

The purpose of a Baby Shower is to show our support and love to the future mother, at the same time we celebrate the next to be birth. Another purpose, no less important, is to help the future parents to get all the elements and accessories they will need after the baby is born.

The event is usually organized by the future mother or someone very close to her, who will be in charge of organizing the party and coordinate all the details to make everything fine.

There is no specific time to do the party, although it?s usually celebrated approximately one or two months before the birth of the baby.
